Ava Marinos is an illustrator and contemporary artist currently located in Canberra ACT. She is a gong local but graduated with a diploma in Fine Art from St George College of Fine Art, (Syd).
Her current practice mixes themes of elegance, overtly feminine motifs, with contemporary style and satirical horror elements; inviting viewers to perceive the figures as regal yet cutthroat. Putting her own spin on what girlhood is: purity, and softness contrasted by modern feminine rage.
